our story

Love at the four paws is an Animal Protection Association formed in 2009 by a group of friends and animal lovers with interventions in the Cortegaça Camping Park where there was a colony with a high number of cats, more specifically 135 feline animals.

The Association has already had some spaces, converted into cattery, and is currently located in Penafiel. Currently, around 80 cats are housed in the association's cattery. Every day, a team of volunteers travels to the cattery to carry out the hygiene and cleaning of the space, check the health status of the furry ones and treat those who are sick in the ward.
